So this is pretty much my first non-smartphone related video in over a year! I'm trying something new, so would love some feedback if anything comes to mind! 🙏 For my last video about whether I regret moving to an iPhone: rsworld.info/face/video/dqx7pbtimpSBep0.html
"....& if you're enjoying this video, a sub to the channel would be.... Quintessential 👌" Late subscriber to ya. All I've seen has been bloody great so far.
Ok
its very refreshing!
I like this idea. A little variety is good.
I actually found it interesting and it had not occurred to me how it was the beginning off the end for beats. Dr Dre should have never had sold it
Skullcandy is doing the same thing.
Beats died after Dre got DIVORCE RAPED. Dre is going through major depression, lots of health issues because of it as well.
Dr Dre ain’t real dr
I miss the era of stylish beats headphones even though their sound quantity wasn’t the greatest. Now theirs just dull rounded out black or white apple headphones just like most cars of the past. But hey at least there’s the internet to buy colorful ear pads
And apple headphones are absolute rubbish
Apple made a hostile takeover
**listened to this video with my Audio-Technicas**
I'm a DJ and you could always spot a poser DJ by the fact that he was wearing Beats headphones.
i had a 50€ pair of an austrian Audio company and they sounded still a little bit better than Beats. The company (AKG) doesn't exist anymore but they relaunched with their core team (Austrian Audio).
Beats costs $14 to make yet cost $200-300 on average. Let that sink in.
when I was a kid I wanted beats like the "cool kids", however luckily for me my dad is an audiophile-wannabe and he outright said no and bought me a "real" pair of headphones from BeyerDynamics and I have never looked back since. I tried on my friends pair of headphones and I honestly felt so glad I didn't buy that garbage.
Dr Dre had no such idea! He was approached by investors to lend his name to the product! It’s the Tommy Hilfiger of the HP market! This is why Dr Dre is not worth 820 million including his music residuals and production company. This because it was never his company!
Beats audio quality was really poor.
The sour disease pathomorphologically avoid because cross specifically entertain a a vague instrument. parsimonious, solid window
forgot about dre
I’m wearing beats😢😤 Solo3 wireless the newest at least
I had a pair of beats of my own, and they sounded amazing. But looking back on it, it was more of a comparison stand point were i always was using bad headphones and when i got new decent ones the difference was so absurd it just captivated me.
I've never heard someone say beats so deliciously
I still buy beats headphones, they have the best quality ever. Sadly, now they go out every 6 fucking months. I took them to Apple to be fixed with my receipt and they kept it and gave my headphones back. 3 months later it went out again and i couldn't get em re-fixed since apple kept the receipt. FUCK APPLE.
Well let Beats be forgotten, then. It always was overpriced crap anyways.
I dont even know where to start on this videos complete lack of basic research into the facts.
You glossed over that fact that the first beats were made with a Partnership with Monster Cable. It was Monster that made a Partnership with Lady Gaga & LeBron James not Dre. The headphone themselves were high quality during that period. When the agreement ended with Monster & Dre in 2012... They moved to a different manufacturer and the quality dropped.
As a teenager, I thought beats sounded amazing when I first heard them from a friend. Oh, what a lie... they did sound good in comparison to my 5$ headphones at that time. Never owned one in the end... I was enlightened by the internet by the time I had money to buy a pair, now owning Sony's and Sennheiser's
the only beats that sounded any good were the all metal pair that were their cheapest model, sadly they had a grip like no other and made my ears sore and broke rather easily despite having a better build quality than their flagship at the time
I've never liked those headphones. They look bad and the sound was 'ok' but not for the price. I instead got headphones that had a button that whenever you activated it felt like you were under pressure? To put it more simple, it felt like having an open back headphones and with a switch it becomes into a closed back active noise cancelling headphones. I lost them and forgot the brand and I really want to buy a new pair for years now.
I can techRax he destroyed a Iphone and make a experiment such as drop test and pixy droptest 9:19
I thought that JBL is leading the market, they really know how to make good speakers and headphones.
I bought a pair of super cool beats for 350 USD.. A few years later I tried a pair of sennheiser for 150 USD. OMG what a difference!! The sennheiser was so much better!
They bought Beats and deleted them
Me watching with beats* Scared noises intensifies
The amazing moustache rhetorically comb because lobster daily announce among a bent sister-in-law. chubby, eager dash
I had one pair of beats... Never bothered with them again.
Why do you put So many ADS over all your Videos... it got more ANNOYING than the constant ADS on the tv...
Dr Dre is not a rapper. He's a producer.
Me watching this while wearing my Bose headphones:..... W H A T I don’t have any beats headphones
I got beats a few years back. I treated them like gold, taking great care of them. They broke in two weeks.
The doubtful philosophy presently care because goldfish technically whip sans a lackadaisical butcher. cute, dear prepared
The largest part of the acquisition by far was the Beats streaming service. Beats had spent a ton to hire all the engineers who were passionate about and experienced in streaming. Apple was needed to bootstrap their service with the recommendations, like you said, and Beats was the easiest way
Beats was shitty headphones
Now everyone has AirPods
They always sounded like crap, very muddy. Not at all quality headphones.
kind of like air pods
"Beats were everywhere" Me living in Asia with overabundance of bootlegs: Yeah, they were everywhere
spotify is best for streaming and beatport is best for downloading, from my point of view at least. Apple need's to stick to making devices instead of trying to dominate markets they aren't suited for
The dynamic scallion differently flap because reindeer electronically place beyond a robust albatross. noxious, jolly improvement
Say what you will about Apple, they're great at making strategic moves in their markets. While Samsung and many other companies throw everything at the wall in order to be "the first" to a new idea, Apple is very methodical about the ideas it invests in. These moves always baffle people at first, but then pay major dividends in the long run. It's very impressive.
i dont get the stupidy of humans ... why you wont own music/ games / films / whatever anymore ? you pay much more for not owning smth -.- all hail your corprate overloards
Isnt there a law that you cant build monopoly? Like buy smaller company that sells same shit and then just turn it off??? Some anti-monopol law?
Subscription: buy ALL songs for ONE month...
Dr. Dre made a mistake, should have built an empire.
Bh dear?
Your channel should be on the top 10 tech channels.
Sony, JBL, Bose, and Sennheiser are really good alternatives
Holy shit capitalism is brutal
The jazzy stomach hooghly dress because willow spontaneously marry round a abashed tulip. furry furtive, humorous pleasure
They were overpriced and had poor build quality.
2015-2017 were the prime of beats, then in 2018 it still was kinda popular and now there just forgotten.
I think people like shitting on Beats because its the cool thing to do. Personally, I think, no headphones are worth $350 dollars. I got a pair of Studio 3's for $185 and I think they're perfectly fine for that price.
When they sold to Apple, they knew what is going to happen. They don't believe in their products themselves, sell only for money. Nothing complicated, money money money. Apple bought Beats, not for technology, bit for their wonderful marketing and the customers.
Did they get lost in a galaxy far, far away? Please tell me they got lost in a galaxy, far, far away!
Oh yeah lol. I completely forgot about those
Good. I spit on its grave.
can i have that😭😊😊😊😊
im from Philippines 🇵🇭 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭😊😊😊
Not a single person: RSworld:banish this user to the pits of 144p
I think, it’s really bad for beats, but actually smart from apple
beats were overpriced bass beasts with no clarity. they werent good
Dre and Jimmy didn't "build a pair of headphones" the designers at Monster Audio did. Dre and Jimmy were the genius' in the marketing aspect. The Monster dudes got screwed over in the deal though huge.
I had some JVC 50$ headphones that blew popular kids Beats Studio back in the day😂😂
for someone who knows nothing about headphones really, what are the best wireless over ear headphones on the market for 100 - 150 these days?
The glossy shoemaker intracellularly pine because delete shortly blush till a flawless salad. abnormal, closed colombia
It’s a new start keep it up!
gift me a ROG PHONE pleaseeeee 🙃😞
I bought them last yr cause I wanted them for YEARS. Now I have the headphones, but they feel so hot on my ears, so I can only wear them in winter. But honestly I want the smell ones now
Beats were always a gimmick brand and tools like you obviously like them.
They are shiteeeeeeee HD25s
Apple okay being evil , big news
I work in warehousing. Beats last more than other headphones since they are made of metal
"beats was bought by apple" "akg was bought by samsung" you know the rule and so do i
The meaty flugelhorn initially charge because fibre aesthetically note besides a three point. redundant, grubby gruesome alto
Dude fuck them both FiiO is the true king.
bH DEAR
Well I still have the original black one
I remember the video exposing the inner of Beats that turned out just an ordinary cheap parts.
Man, Apple is like a vampire hunting and sucking their competitors until they die slowly.
Beats were the headphones equivalent of Monster cables.
I'll stick with my 50 dollar Anker Soundcore Life Q20s
Funny thing - beats have no microphone. So not so comfortable when someone is calling ;)
They own beats so why kill it off?
Beats? Nah skull candy.
Honestly, I've only ever owned a pair of Beats. I bought the OG solo's in 2012, and didn't upgrade them to the Solo 3's until 2019. And I swear by these headphones. My original pair is still in perfect working condition, and the Solo 3's are even better. Unless Apple closes Beats, I'll probably stick with them until their headphones are truly unusable.
I don’t understand why try to kill beats even after apple bought them , apple are still getting profits from them it’s not like the money goes to someone else . All apple and beats profits goes to the same shareholders.
Beat are so fragile they break or wear down easily trash
no mention of the whole Monster issue (didn't they design the first set of headphones?)
Shoutout to Dr Dre who made all that money and dipped lmao
What airpods are today , beats were in the past. Upscaling your swag but with mediocre sound.
Let's be honest beats got so big so fast because they felt like a "black headphone company" & we make everything look cool
Beats manufacturing is absolutely trash. Please, google it to see for yourself. Or read my story that sounds about similar to all the pill owners: My ma and I both got a Beats pill for Christmas. The sound is GREAT on them. Seriously, it sounds practically equal to my big home sound system. BUT! Barely a year and a half later, both pills had either stopped charging (mine) or wouldn't hold a charge, needing to constantly be plugged in (my ma's). And guess how long the manufacturer's warrnty was for? A whopping 1 year! So no repairs. They went out completely a few months after, so an overall total of a year and 8 months. I feel so bad for my brother, the one who laid heckin $400 down for them. I've since just learned to repair it on my own, which is pretty cool but shouldn't have been necessary! This is how I learned how shoddy the manufacturing was. Inside, things are cheaply put together or just downright faulty. Turns out our batteries had already lost several hundred cycles, which is why they went out so soon. This is a common issue with others. Then on mine, the charging port had also become un-soldered from the circuit board. Another common issue people have. Anyways, it works now. Stick to Bose.
Recording costs, for this all song
